Neil A. McLane, President

Neil is a registered Landscape Architect in Colorado with 20 years of professional experience. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and is a LEED AP with the US Green Building Council. Having relocated to Colorado to be with family and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, he established McLane & Associates, Inc. in 2008. Throughout his career, Neil has promoted the application of ecological design principles and techniques.

He received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 1987, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in Sculpture, in 1981.

In the past Neil has worked with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, development consultants and design-build companies. Formerly employed as the director of Landscape Architecture in a development consulting firm, he has established and managed a successful Landscape Architecture practice, as well as a real estate investment and management company. He has practiced in Colorado, Florida, Georgia and the Caribbean.

In addition to his professional work Neil enjoys hiking, bicycling, skiing, sailing, practicing Zen and playing guitar. He is married, with a son, three step-daughters and three grandchildren.
